Directions to the Human Simulation & Patient Safety Center

The Human Simulation Center is located on the 4th Floor (Purple Zone) of the Duke South Clinics (Building #10). Visitors to the Center should park in the Duke South Clinics Parking Garage (Building #8).

From Greensboro and Points West

1. Via 1-85 North: Exit onto N.C. 147 (Durham Freeway).
2. Take second exit (#15B) off Durham Freeway
3. Turn Right onto Fulton St. South.
4. Turn left at the second light onto Erwin Rd.
5. Turn right at first light onto Trent Dr.
6. Parking garage is about 1/10 mile up on the left.

From Richmond and Points North

1. Via I-85 South: In Durham, take the "Hillandale Rd." exit (#174A)
2. Turn left onto Hillandale Rd.
3. At the 4th Light "Hillandale Rd." becomes "Fulton St".
4. Keep going straight under Rt 147
5. Turn left at the second light onto Erwin Rd.
6. Turn right at first light onto Trent Dr.
7. Parking garage is about 1/10 mile up on the left.

From Raleigh, RDU Airport, and Points East

1. Via I-40 West: Exit onto the Durham Freeway (N.C. 147).
2. Take Durham Freeway to Fulton Street exit (#15B).
3. Turn left onto Fulton Street.
4. Turn left at the second light onto Erwin Rd.
5. Turn right at first light onto Trent Dr.
6. Parking garage is about 1/10 mile up on the left.

From Chapel Hill and Points South

1. Via U.S. 15-501: North. Take 15-501 N. marked Duke Univ./Med Ctr.
   Do not take 15-501 Business.
2. Take N.C. 147 "Durham Freeway" exit (#108) South.
3. Take Durham Freeway to Fulton Street exit (#15B).
4. Turn right onto Fulton Street.
5. Turn left at the second light onto Erwin Rd.
6. Turn right at first light onto Trent Dr.
7. Parking garage is about 1/10 mile up on the left.

Directions from Clinics Parking Garage

1. Come across second floor walkway.
2. Once in Clinics Building walk past Information Desk straight down hallway.
3. Walk past elevators on left.
4. Make a left immediately after elevators (walk toward Purple Zone).
5. Walk to end of hallway.
6. Take Purple Elevator to 4th Floor.
7. As you exit the elevator, walk through double doors and turn left.
8. Walk down hallway.
9. Enter through old operating room door.
10. Simulation Center is on your right.

Directions from Duke North

1. Take PRT or walk to Duke South
2. Walk toward Food Court.
3. Make a right hand turn just prior to elevators (before reaching the Food Court).
4. Walk up incline, continue straight at the four way intersection (walk toward Purple Zone)
5. Take Purple Elevator to 4th Floor
6. As you exit the elevator, walk through double doors and turn left
7. Walk down hallway
8. Enter through old operating room door
9. Simulation Center is on your right
